Vin Diesel is a good actor, and his raw grief and aggression are believable. However, the plot didn't seem to know where it was going. Things happened and you had no idea about the motivation behind them, if anything the ending made everything less clear. It wasn't exactly a bad movie, but it wasn't particularly good either. Despite the central act, the death of Vetter's wife, and then murder of the drug dealer's wife and child, I felt curiously detached about the characters.
