Hunt has attended the Old Furnace Artist Residency (Harrisonburg, VA) and has worked with Kira Alker + Elke Luyten, Sam Kim, IV Castellanos, and De Facto Dance, and Kathy Westwater (2013 - present). They completed their BFA in at New York University and studied performance at the Headlong Performance Institute in Philadelphia.
Keshav also seems mysterious and the scene where he is fixing the fuse at midnight is quite nicely done. The Lonavala sequence also is funny. But it's when Meena passes away that things begin to heat up. The intermission point is a shocker. Post-interval, the interest level is maintained with some unexpected developments. But this is also the point where bizarre things start happening in the film. One can argue even the first half had its share of bizarre stuff but in the second half, the makers go completely overboard. The film is still unpredictable but the theme and execution will restrict its audience to only multiplexes of urban areas. Performance wise, Kangana Ranaut nails the part. This was probably her most challenging part yet and she delivers as per expectations. Any other actress in her place would have to put a lot of effort and it might have made her performance mechanical. But Kangana slips into the part with ease and takes it to another level. Rajkummar Rao also gets to shine.

Here are my picks: American Animals (2018) A mix of a crime-drama and a documentary, you get a recreation of a heist planned by four college kids who wanted to steal rare books worth millions of dollars. By interweaving the great acting of Evan Peters and Barry Keoghan with interviews from the conspirators, American Animals manages to avoid movies' obsession with celebrating criminality. While these guys lied to themselves, saying this heist is a victimless crime, American Animals does not let them off of the hook of the cruelty and thoughtlessness required to commit crime.

By wrestling, laboring together, engaging with sculptural objects built to degrade, and organizing materials alongside one another's bodies, we resist corporeal vulnerabilities and reclaim our power/agency through performing of objectifications of our own design. In this way we look at the treatment of our self-objectification and otherness within everyday private and performative public spaces, creating distances between the maker/self as a mechanism of survival/resistance/self-preservation. We examine our daily embodied relationships with objects and materials. Working with raw building materials, mould making, welding, re-purposing and transforming found objects through whittling and manipulating we find the objects that can live as stand alone or become performative as our collaborators. It is important to us to source and build our own materials because we value the histories of our craft, rendering the entire process of production as performance.

It's delightful to see Dr Strange, even just for one scene, and to be able to spy glimpses of the Tesseract and a fake Infinity Gauntlet. These add to the rewatch value in a few years time. The crazy, kinetic action really does extend to the whole of the film, from beginning to end, each sequence excellently choreographed. It doesn't shy away from its roots from comics as some of the fights are just as delightfully eccentric and over-the- top. Still they never cease to entertain and, more than that, some are just stunning to behold; the flashback to Valkyrie battling Hela the first time, her army atop a hoard of winged horses soaring through an orange sky only to be cut down by swords and spikes flying towards them in slow- motion. These are gorgeous scenes and Waititi and cinematographer Javier Aguirresarobe should be proud; the beauty of some of Zack Snyder's superhero moments, but in a good film with much more personality. Most of this movie's joy lies in its characters though; at the end of the day, it might be funny and the action might look cool, but if we don't love the characters, we won't love the film.
